Kahlua

We rescued Kahlua (formerly Charlotte) and her siblings from a drainpipe in Dallas. She found a wonderful home and left us much too soon.

A tribute from her loving family:

“Kahlua gained her angel wings too soon this winter. She had a beautiful life filled with all the love we could give her. She must have known her time on earth wasn't going to be long because she lived each day with 5x the energy and love to give as a dog her size should have been able to.

She taught us patience and tested it every day but we would give anything to say her name one more time and have her come for a quick apology before running back into the day.

We have the solace that she went quickly and without any suffering and was doing her favorite thing, playing tug and chase with her sister Bailey, though we are struggling to understand why she had to leave us so young and without true explanation.

Kahlua, you crossed the rainbow bridge too soon but know we love you and miss you and can't wait to play with you again one day. Until then, we will remember you in all the wonderful memories you gave us. To our girl, Lua”
